Advancing Innovation at Aquaculture America 2025
Aquaculture America 2025 served as a cornerstone event for the global seafood industry this year, and Innocreate Bioscience was proud to be at the forefront of the conversation. Held from March 6–10 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, the event stands as the largest aquaculture trade show and conference in the United States. This year’s gathering centered on the vital theme of “Innovation Through Technology,” attracting nearly 4,000 attendees from over 90 countries, all united by the goal of advancing sustainable aquatic farming.
As a company dedicated to precision health management, Innocreate Bioscience joined a prestigious group of over 100 exhibitors at Aquaculture America 2025 to present our cutting-edge diagnostic solutions. The atmosphere in New Orleans was one of intense collaboration and forward-thinking, as we engaged with international scientists, producers, and policy-makers. The core of our discussions focused on how the industry can transition toward high-tech, data-driven farming to meet the food security demands of the future.
The Role of Precision Diagnostics in the U.S. Market
Participating in Aquaculture America 2025 allowed us to showcase our WSSV RP Rapid Test Kit to a North American audience that is increasingly focused on biosecurity. While much of the global shrimp production happens in Southeast Asia and Latin America, the technological and academic leadership showcased in New Orleans dictates global trends.
Innocreate’s mission is to fulfill the event’s vision by providing tools that ensure a more resilient and productive sector. Traditionally, diagnostic testing has been a bottleneck for farmers; the time required to send samples to a central laboratory often meant that by the time results arrived, the disease had already spread. At our booth, we demonstrated how our “lab-at-the-pondside” approach eliminates this latency, allowing for immediate action.
Looking Forward Beyond New Orleans
As we wrap up our participation at Aquaculture America 2025, we carry with us the inspiration and insights gained from the world’s leading aquaculture experts. New Orleans provided a vibrant backdrop for a week of progress, and the partnerships we initiated there will drive our expansion throughout the remainder of the year.
We are currently working on expanding our diagnostic platform to include a wider range of pathogens beyond WSSV, inspired by the challenges shared by farmers at the conference. The road to a sustainable “Blue Economy” is paved with technological breakthroughs, and Innocreate Bioscience is honored to be part of the journey.
